The STEM Directories... A new resource for the science, technology, engineering and mathematics community.
Have you ever wondered how you might better engage teachers and lecturers in schools and colleges in the United Kingdom in your scheme or activity?
Would you like to be involved with a project that gives you a regular and free opportunity to showcase your activity or scheme and to provide teachers and lecturers with the best models of how to excite young people about science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics (STEM)?
The new STEM Directories will provide the definitive source of enhancement and enrichment schemes and activities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Aimed at teachers and lecturers, for use with students of all ages in schools and colleges across the UK, the printed directories will be launched in September 2008 and will be followed by an online version in 2009.
Led by the key players in the STEM community, they hope that the directories will improve coherence and coordination of STEM schemes and activities by providing STEM teachers and lecturers with a reliable and comprehensive overview and signpost to E&E activities across the UK.
