Catalyst is an interactive science centre whose aim is to make science exciting and accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Our continually developing programme of activities ranges from hands-on workshops to dynamic learning-based shows performed by our experienced and passionate Education Team or well loved guest presenters from TV and academia. Workshops and shows are science national curriculum linked and can be tailored for different age ranges or learning styles. The Enterprise Challenge, Science at Work Week, Math-a-Magic Week and the Crazy Changes show are just some of the activities we offer. There are three award-winning galleries to explore, a fully equipped laboratory, a purpose built education centre or you can enhance your visit with a journey of discovery in our interactive theatre.
