The SEPnet GCSE Programme is a series of free activities designed to support the teaching of physics at GCSE. Through a combination of workshops in schools and activities on university campuses, we provide both students and teachers with the chance to try experiments and explore campuses they wouldn't otherwise have access to. The programme includes: * GCSE Taster Session -a half day activity on a university campus, designed for students who will soon start, or have just begun, their GCSEs. The session includes a short lecture, an exhibition of hands-on activities and a wrap up quiz based around the topic of Energy, Energy transfers and Energy resources as covered in the GCSE curriculum. * Workshops in school - workshops are available in a range of topics relating to the GCSE syllabus and are based around practical activities. Topics include: radioactivity, forces and motion, investigating spectra, the electromagnetic spectrum, electricity and medical physics.

Subjects: Physics, General Science
