NRICH
Millennium Mathematics Project
Project for students
NRICH aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners, and develop problem-solving and mathematical thinking skills. NRICH provides a free website publishing thousands of rich mathematical tasks, games and activities for KS1-5, together with guidance and support for teachers on embedding rich mathematical tasks in everyday classroom practice. Students are encouraged to submit solutions to current problems, a selection of which are published on the site. A new section, stemNRICH, helps students explore the mathematics underpinning science, engineering and technology. NRICH includes the AskNRICH discussion boards where students can share mathematical ideas and questions, supported by a community of Cambridge University student volunteer mentors. CPD workshops, delivered by the NRICH team, can also be arranged for schools and clusters of schools. Please contact enquiries.nrich@maths.org for details and fees for CPD.

Excellent presentation and workshops.
This was an excellent half day session that brought problem solving to life! Both children and staff enjoyed the session. I would recommend this Roadshow to everyone.
The children loved this. There were lots of problems and puzzles to make the children reason and talk to each other. The provider was excellent and the activites were differentiated so that all children in the school (4-11) could access them. Good back up information with details of the NRich site given to all children. The feedback from both children and parents was excellent. So overall excellent value for money
Absolutely fabulous! Would recommend this activity to every school. We had groups of 55-60 pupils at a time in order to give the whole year group the experience. All pupils were focussed and motivated on the interesting and practical challenges. Favourites were Aunty’s teacups and the giant Soma cube – the ‘men’ in our department loved the soma cube and wouldn’t leave it alone! Thank you for a great day.
All staff and pupils enjoyed the day- they all wished that it was longer, but we can access the activities to repeat in school.
A great day with plenty of variety and quantity of resources. Informative, flexible and professional leader. I would recommend tuning into a particular age group rather than trying to cover the ‘whole school’ in order to develop problem solving skills and aptitudes.
