Excursion

This is a practical course for KS4 students, providing an opportunity to work as scientists carrying out a research project in a real world context. Teachers can select from a range of subject content to fit with their stage of curriculum delivery, for example, genes and chromosomes, genetic engineering, enzymology, renewable energy and microbiology. All courses are linked to current industrial activity/ research programmes. You may also couple the day with a short outdoor adventure to enhance the experience further.

Ages 14-16yrs old, 16-19yrs old
Cost: £20/student per day minimum 9 students. Maximum 12 students. 1 to 2 staff members free with each course.
