Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences
Excursion
The Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, part of the University of Cambridge, is a globally important collection of minerals, rocks and fossils. A unique resource for learners, the Museum offers a wide range of earth science learning opportunities for all ages including a range of facilitated visits for groups of up to 35 students, support materials for self-guided visits, loan boxes for use in the classroom and events and training for teachers. All teaching takes place in the Museum and is led by experienced teachers who are subject specialists. Sessions are hands-on and all are object based. We aim to engage students with the creativity implicit in scientific thinking and problem solving. For more information please see our information online or call to discuss your requirements.
