This workshop is tailored to A-level specifications including How Science Works.

Accelerate! is a 45-minute interactive science show held at the University of Oxford, which explores the ideas behind particle physics, particle accelerators and their applications.

Students will enter a simulated scene where they work as scientists carrying out a mini project about diagnostic genetic tests.

The students will be split into teams of typically 8/9 students with a business facilitator supporting and stimulating the student’s thinking so that they can work together as a team to find their own solutions to the tasks they have been set.
